A little bit about the owner / operator of Compass Rose Window Cleaning Services, Charles Rice

     As a resident of the area of the Crystal Coast for the last 31/2 years. My wife, Lois, and I have called this area home as of January 2008.  We have 3 daughters, two of our daughters, Diana, a school teacher and Christina, a school safety officer both reside in New York. Our youngest daughter Jessica resides with us and is a student at UNCW. 

     We fell in love with the area after visiting family and going for a boat ride on Bogue Sound. As a boating and fishing family the area has a lot to offer. Also the people in the area are a joy to associate with and have made the relocating transition enjoyable.

     I am currently the present President of the local chapter of The Blue Knights Law Enforcement motorcycle club chapter 18 located in Morehead City. A member of the Fraternal Order of Police Chapter #77 and the Knights of Columbus #8143. I believe in what these organizations stand for and the contributions that they make to the local community. I also hold a current North Carolina Commercial fishing license......As you can see I really do call this area HOME.....

     I have been cleaning windows for approx. eight years, and can be counted on to provide a Clean, Prompt and Professional Service. I believe that the customer should be comfortable and protected by the people that they are dealing with. It is for that reason that I am an affiliated member of the North Carolina Better Business Bureau,  which is not a mandatory requirement, but voluntary.  Another item that Is important to the customer is what type of tools that will  be used. The tools of the trade that I use are UNGER products. Unger is regarded as the best in the business and are used by most professionals in the  Window  Cleaning Business. The quality of the tools reflect on the quality of the finished product.   

     The Weather plays a factor in the performance and outcome of the final product.  It is recommended not to attempt to clean windows on  hot days in direct sunlight. On bright and sunny days early morning appointments may be in order. On rainy days the service can be performed when the weather cooperates.
